Thank you for attending the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance (“RDBA”) Virtual Experience™ (the “Event”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) explains how and why we collect, use, share and store information, including personal information, in connection with your attendance at this Event.  Our data collection, use, sharing, and storage practices are subject to and further detailed in our Privacy Policy https://retaildietitians.com/privacy-policy/. In connection with your access to and participation in the Event, we collect certain data including:

When you register for the Event, we collect your mailing address, email address, name, and telephone number, which you voluntarily provide in order to receive information and access to the event.

When you communicate with us, we collect information you may provide to us, including your email contact information, which may be stored in our customer relationship system, which keeps track of the personnel with whom you are communicating, and the marketing or other services in which you have expressed interest.  This may be combined with publicly available information, e.g., a LinkedIn profile, or other information about you that we have collected by other means.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18, nor do we market our services to them.

We use the data we collect above to (i) register you for and grant you access to the Event and send you related materials; (ii) to operate, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Event; (iii) to detect or prevent fraud, to comply with legal obligations, or protect your, our, or others’ rights; (iv) to allow us to pursue remedies or limit liabilities if a dispute arises; (v) to fulfill other purposes permitted or required by law; (vi) to build our mailing and contact databases; and (vii) in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for such other uses disclosed to you, with your consent.

In connection with this Event, we may disclose your personal information to third parties involved in the operation of the Event, including Hopin, web-hosting companies and information technology providers, and to our Event sponsors.

For this Event, we will be using the Hopin platform, and Hopin may collect certain data from its users. This Privacy Notice and our Privacy Policy does not cover Hopin’s data collection, use, storage, and sharing practices. The Event website may link to third parties’ websites or content.  Our Privacy Policy does not address the privacy, security or other practices of these third-party service providers. We do not accept any liability for their policies or the protection of data you provide to third-party sites.

RDBA secures data through a mix of technical and administrative safeguards, and has policies and procedures designed to promote commercially reasonable security practices in accord with US and international requirements. Nonetheless, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically over cellular and wireless networks that we do not control.
